The Variety

The Beast is an extreme superhot pepper developed in the United States by grower Brian Seal. It is a hybrid of Carolina Reaper and Chocolate Nagabrain, combining some of the most intense genetics available.

The pods are heavily wrinkled and often feature a pronounced stinger tail, giving the plant a fierce and unmistakable appearance.

Flavor & Heat

The Beast delivers intense, punishing heat with a long-lasting burn. Beneath the extreme heat, it carries a complex fruity flavor with citrus and subtle smoky undertones.

Due to its high heat and oil content, it is best used sparingly in sauces, powders, and marinades.

Garden Notes

Plant outdoors only after temperatures are consistently warm. The Beast requires a long growing season and performs best in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil.

Germination typically occurs within 7–14 days in warm conditions. Plants benefit from staking and consistent care to support fruit development.

🌱 Before You Plant

🌱 Check Night Time Temps

Peppers are warm-season plants and need heat to thrive.

Do not plant outdoors until after the danger of frost has passed and nighttime temperatures stay consistently mild.

Planting too early can slow growth and delay your harvest. Give peppers full sun, warm soil, and a little patience β€” they’ll take off when the season is right.

🌢️ Why Loud Peppers

We grow peppers across the full spectrum β€” from approachable to extreme.

The Beast represents the very edge of that spectrum, where heat, power, and intensity define the experience.

From soil to scorch.
